About the role
Our dashboard is where merchants reconcile settlements, issue cards, chase a single failed payout and read the health of their whole payment stack. It has to be fast, precise and trustworthy under real operational pressure.
You'll own large parts of that surface end to end — from the data layer to the last pixel — and set the bar for how the front end is built as the team grows.
Responsibilities
- Build and own merchant-facing features in our React/TypeScript app, from data fetching to interaction detail.
- Turn dense financial data — settlements, ledgers, transaction streams — into views people can act on in seconds.
- Set front-end conventions, review code, and raise the quality bar as we scale the team.
- Work directly with design and back-end engineers; there are no hand-off layers between you and the problem.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production web applications, with deep React and TypeScript experience.
- A track record of owning features end to end, including the parts that aren't glamorous.
- Strong instincts for performance, accessibility and interaction detail.
- Comfort working in a small team where you decide a lot and wait for permission rarely.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial, payments or other high-correctness domains.
- Familiarity with data visualisation and real-time UI.
- Open-source work we can look at.
