About the role
Payments are dense by nature. Our job is to make a genuinely complex system feel calm and obvious to the people running their business on it.
You'll own product design across merchant and developer surfaces, working closely with engineering to ship — not to produce screens that sit in a file.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end flows for dense financial products, from concept to shipped detail.
- Build and maintain the patterns and components the product is assembled from.
- Prototype interactions and pressure-test them with real data, not lorem ipsum.
- Partner with engineers through implementation so the shipped result matches the intent.
Requirements
- A portfolio of shipped product work, ideally in data-heavy or technical domains.
- Strong systems thinking — you design patterns, not one-off screens.
- Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools, and comfort reading the front-end code.
- The judgement to know when to simplify and when detail genuinely matters.
